The New York Times bestselling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play. When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

I love the ‘Beautiful Bastard’ series! I have read most of the books two or three times. Because of that I was ABSOLUTELY sure I would love ‘Sweet Filthy Boy’. Well…I didn’t. It is…an okay read. If I have to rate the plot I would give it 2-2.5 stars. However, I would give 5 stars for the hotness and the sweet & filthy French boy- Ansel!

Mia Holland has allowed herself one last weekend of fun and irresponsibility. She is expected to act like an adult and to take all the decisions in her life based on the high expectations of her family. She is ready to let go even if it is only for few days! And when she locks eyes with a gorgeous guy in a club- everything changes. He is hot, he is French, he is an attorney….he is exactly what Mia needs!

“I want to love all of my life as much as I love this night.”

After a seriously wild night…lots of alcohol and lost memories…Mia, Ansel and their friends are (let’s say) in a difficult position. Everything leads to Ansel inviting Mia to spend the summer in Paris with him. And she agrees…What follows is an adventure…for both of them. They act impulsive but sometimes in life…you just have to risk it all in order to find true love and happiness. And also…to find yourself.

“Life is built of these little horrible moments and the giant expanses of awesome in between.”

Okay…so why I didn’t love it? Well…first of all I don’t think the story was believable. Most of the time during reading I was thinking: ‘Oh…come on…this will never happen.’ It’s too much like a fairy tale for me.

Second issue: from 40% to 70% nothing actually happened. I was waiting and waiting…and nothing! There was no development. Okay, I admit there were some seriously steamy parts…but they were not enough…I needed more story! And that is why I felt the end a little bit rushed. Other than that….the story was okay. The ‘tour’ around Paris is really nice. And like I said: I LOVED Ansel! He is so dreamy <3 lol

I am not sure I will read the second book but probably I will. ;)
